um theodore haben wir uns schon mehr gekümmert, als um viele andere bands auf dieser welt. zwei artikel haben sie abbekommen, als gelte es, sie in den sternenhimmel zu heben. gelohnt hat es sich angesichts ihres offenherzigen noisy folks immer. hier hatten wir sie im november 08 vorgestellt, wenig später ein interview nachgeschoben. mittlerweile ist eine menge wasser den mississippi heruntergeflossen. und es hat sich tatsächlich einiges getan bei den jungs aus st. louis. sie haben ihre labelheimat undertow verlassen und sich dafür moon jaw records angeschlossen. dort erschien anfang februar das dritte album der band "hold you like a lover". ihre neue record company schreibt dazu: "This is a record to make one at ease with feeling down in the mouth; about doing wrong to those whom one ought to do right, if only for the knowledge that one shares this condition with so many others who wake every single day with the hope, misguided as it may be, that today might be the day things turn around. It's a record about longing for a past and a home that did not, do not, cannot, exist. It's about the joy of one's sweetheart and the perverse relief in being caught in a complex lie. But mostly, it's about the transcendent feeling that things might be all right, if only for a brief spell, while this music is sounding." genau, es ist alles in ordnung, solange diese musik läuft. hört Euch nur mal diese, leider zum teil etwas rottigen aufnahmen an, die die band via label zur verfügung stellt. die ahnung, was die jungs drauf haben, wohin sie wollen, bekommt man auf jeden fall.theodore - death's head
