The artwork stems from ideas from the Provo movement in Amsterdam in the early-mid 70s. When the full length album comes out early 2009, the artwork will be expanded to show the full progression of the idea.Basically, the artwork will show the progression from police officer to social worker, complete with a white uniform instead of blue. Due to the police brutality that they regularly encountered, the Provos had an idea that police officers should be transitioned into social workers to help citizens. So, the message is one of peace and potential progress, even though the idea of the word "progress" is easily transformed depending on one's agenda. Also, the muted colors, red white and blue, is a bit of a swipe at the U.S.'s need to assume the role of world police, even though any involvement the U.S has with other countries is solely for the U.S.'s benefit." diesen interessanten und für mich größtenteils neuen informationen ließ ich eine konkrete nachfrage folgen, in der ich meine bedenken bezüglich der symbolik zum ausdruck brachte. david antwortete wie folgt: "Ah, yes. I just looked that up and it is rather similar. That was definitely not intentional - they are supposed to just be lightning bolts. If you want, I have the first draft of the cover that does not have the lightning bolt image on it. I could e-mail it to you if you have an email address. or it is online here on my myspace." damit hatten wir das visuelle abgehakt und konnten uns der musik widmen.
